Just hypothetically speaking, what sort of features would some of you suggest putting into a dual slalom course (a permanent one).
In my head:
-Start mound with well differentiated lanes
-bermed corners
-rollers/speed jumps
-flexy gated flat corners (normally not in succession and IMO only in the bottom half of the course, some of the better setups I'd seen had a large tabletop or such into flat corners to force slides)
-step down to big 180 degree berms to short straight - finish.

That would be awesome if you built that. Do you have a site. I think you should have some off camber corners and a few corners without berms just to make it tricky.

Possibly... I'm just brainstorming course elements really. Fast entry flat corners which require powering out of are a definite inclusion in any good slalom course I would think; shows real cornering skills and leg power.
Thinking a large obstacle before the last berm would be cool, something taller than the riders, so for the spectators at the finish its not 100% clear who is going to come over first; for spectators further up the course the riders disappear until they shoot out of the berm or berms to the finish sprint. I think that would be a good visual element.

You've basically got all the general things you need. Also make sure you have a jump with a big gap(for the spectators). Tight burms with little roller jumps in between.

at the end after the finish line youe should have 2 berms trurning into each other so the riders collide.
just joking
a dual slalom would be the sickest

rock garden with the easy line running to far away berm, hard line through to the closer berm.
