Hey,
I have been looking at getting a new bike for dj and street/park. Currently my two main choices are the 2007 Specialized p.2 or the Eastern Night Train. I was wondering if anybody knows how much the 2007 p.2 weighs, and if they are any good for riding park and street?
Also feel free to give me a opinion these two bikes.
Thanks

Id go with the eastern dude.

Cant find any weight specifications on google, but all reports point toward the P.2 feeling 'heavy'
IMO Night train all the way, and yes, they would be a beast for street or park

If you don't need gears what about the p.1? There mad as bikes. I read in that other thread that there is no night trains left in stock so if you want one you might have to wait for a while or a find a store that still has one.
Good luck

Ive been looking at a P.2 as well for dirt jumping but havnt been able to find a price, oes anyone know?
My friend had a custom p2 and it was hella light. I'd go for the p2, the eastern is yuck.
I'm somewhat of a postwhore tonight.

The p2 retails just under $1500 I am pretty sure. Potentially a sick bike!

Eastern Nightrain 26. Why because good quality parts for what you pay for.

P2's are good value for there money but the cromo version comes with horrible wheels! after a few heavy hits they wobble like jelly! other than that there a quality bike, the bars are also a bit narrow...

Yeah the p2 has really bad rims...
But the night train is really good value for money because it has good wheelsets, frame and bmx drivetrain. The frame is fairly small so it makes it good for throwing about and for doing tricks! The only bad thing is if your a bit of a weight weenie it weighs around the 15 kilo mark but thats mainly the forks that give it that ''extra weight'' so get some new lighter forks and you should drop a kilo or less then it will be a very very light and strong bike!
Good choice!
