Do a search mate.
i know i can search!
i have searched and have a few in mind but i asked for some of your thoughts and some opinions on bikes!
it depends on whether you are looking at first hand or second hand...
1st hand - i would recommend a Norco Shore, Kona Stinky or Coiler, Giant Glory (one of the inexpensive ones)
2nd hand - if you are buying second hand you will be able to get a way higher specced bike. 2500 could get you anything from a Stinky Dee to a Santacruz...

If you want to buy a new dually then I'd suggest saving a little more and going with something like the Norco atomik. Your best bet would be to buy second hand though. If you're looking at ht then you have a lot of scope.
The new SC Bullit looks hot, having owned the older model I'd say they are nice freeride bikes and it looks like they have a better pivot system now.

norcos are the way to go.
demo nine, you can pick some up at good prices, otherwise maybe a kona or something else that is heavy???

There is a section in the new AMB about FR bikes. Buy it and see!

Yeah, and it pits freeride bikes against all mountain bikes. It'll tell you heaps.

The atomik's geo is more suited to DH, you'd probably be better off with the equivalently priced Shore.
Whatever you get don't buy a stinky.

Norco is way too heavy. I would say SC Bullit or VP Free
