Hi All,
I'm looking at reducing the height at which my bars sit, stock the STP has about 4 or 5 'spacers' or oversized washers that sit between the headset and the Stem.

Question is, are these able to be removed and the stem / bars dropped down, to reduce the height?.

Thank you.
DJ.

Yes you can remove them and put them above your stem,or chop your steerer tube down so you don't need them, steerer must be a few MM lower than stem or whatever goes on it last. You can't ad steerer once it's gone(well not easily for all you smart arses)so I'd advise running them on top of step until your sure you like that height. Cutting steerer also makes reslling forks hard if you've chopped it short,as it won't fit on all bikes.
