Well head bangers, just thought a little tale about the bloke who thought he was Mr invincible. it was in Tassie and riding through the hills near lindisfarne. me and a few mates were charging down the hill at a rate of a skier tying to out run an avalanche when yours truly had the front wheel jam up in a rut. Quicker than a bolt of lightning but somehow seeming in slowmotion i was dragged to the ground face first. as my head hit the ground the momentum was pushing me some yards down the firetrail. i thought my head had been shredded and well was waiting for all the lights to go out and the blood to pour out on the ground.
but before i could get it together one of the other riders who was not too far behind had just rounded the bend and with no where or time for him to manouvre off he went over embankment and into the bush. thankfully he wasnt all that hurt.
He got up and as soon As he saw me he just laughed it was though a great big shark had taken a bite out of my MET helmet as the remains of it was hanging off the side of my Head. it did knock the invincibility out of me and shook me up for quite a while.
These days I take things a bit easier and I am keen to get back on Board so if there is anyone wanting to assist in selling me a good bike for around a $1000 let me know :cool:
