Iron Horse or Giant!

What do you guys think about a 2007 Giant Glory 1 freeride or a 2007 Iron Horse 7 point 3. I can get both for a resonably low price and am wanting to know what is better.:):(:confused::mad::p;):D:o:rolleyes::cool: :eek:

Hi,

Thought i'd just start by mentioning that this kind of topic, 'Giant or Ironhorse,' could potentially open a can of worms with people arguing based on their preference of one brand over the other, and not on the performance or specs of the bikes. In saying that, here are my opinions:

Giant Glory 0:

The Giant has more travel (8" versus 7") which is a bonus. And from a component perspective, the Giant wins hands down. Don't forget though, we are comparing the top Glory freeride bike (Glory 0 over Glory 1) with the lower of the three 7 point bikes (7 point 3, over 7 point 5, and 7 point 7) so it is hard to give the Ironhorse any credit here - I don't think it's fair competition.

I think you should base your purchase on opinions of rideability. I haven't ridden either bike, so I can't help you here. But as far as componentry and travel, I'd go the Giant. - Mike.

i was looking at getting both bikes and the glory came out on top by far go with the glory and you wont look back:cool:

personly i think that the giant is a much more solid bike and has a better spec, id go with the glory any day.
