Hey guys and girls,
I'm a total noob at this but, when I import mixed CD's into Itunes how do I stop it putting a small gap between tracks?
Thanks in advance.

don't worry I have somehow fixed it.
What it was doing was leaving a small gap between tracks on a DJ mixed CD. And being mixed I don't want a gap.
Thanks.

Just interested in how you fixed it? My advice was going to be to select all the songs you want, right click, get info, select 'gapless album'

The latest iTunes as of around Christmas, introduced something into the program where this problem was solved.
If you import new songs, it takes a few seconds out to rewrite the gapping at the end to make it seamless, for albums such as Dark Side of the Moon-where every track transitions to the next. Also stuff like the Ministry of Sound 2007 Annual. I have both, they work perfectly.
:) Just to make sure of everything though, go to preferences, playback and make sure the "Crossfade Playback" box is not ticked. Make sure the bar is at all the way to the end, 0 seconds.
