Sad that only 10 girls even entered.

The guys and gals at Littermag are probably still partying, no pictures from them yet.
Results will be here:

While the Live Timing seems to still show 4X qualifying:

Ill try and keep this post updated with new bits, but ill probably lose control of it. Should be another good weekend of racing.

Nice one, I love these threads. I haven't done much reading on this WC thus far, so anybody know how far off the quallys are? I'd like to see this one start wet and stay fucking wet the whole time, get some sliding action happening. Anybody over there have any info on who's looking quick?

Either he is very unlucky or he needs to be better prepared for his travelling. He has had it happen a few times.........
Lets hope it rains so Sam Hill can take the top step of the podium.;)

Is that Minaar hitting the rock. Nice rib bash.

Interesting comment by the track Builder that all the old school rocks and roots etc have given way to berms and wide open track. Not sure that this is a good thing at most tracks.

As part of some travel planning, I researched the whys and wherefores of entry into Canada. You don't need to have done a lot wrong for them to take a very close look at you at Immigration. If you have such things on record and they know about it, one smartass remark to the Vogon behind the desk could see you cooling your heels airside and waiting for the next plane out! Smile, co-operate, be patient and say thank you for the cavity check.

Looking forward to the finals at MSA, it looks like they've been very lucky with the weather so far. Seeing those '98 Boxxer WC replicas reminds me just how far we've come! :D

Yep loving the retro Boxxers! It will be interesting if it rains (and it sounds like it will). Does anyone know if the UCI have implimented the top 20 start together rule yet?
On the Kovarik subject, if I remember correctly he stuffed up his visa app for the states last year as well (or was it the year before). He really needs to lift his game, it's a real shame that the defending Mont st Anne champ cant defend his title...

Does anyone know where Prokop is? More immigration problems? Injury?
Hopefully Jared Graves can bring home the goods, his mtx wc season could do with a win, with prokop out and he wins and wins again later in the season he could finish second in the championship but it looks like Brian Lopes has the title on hold.

Prokop is in europe racing bmx. Check Jareds report for details. On another but only slightly related note, currently in Canada at Siver Star near vernon. What an absolute bomb of a hill. Heaps of good stuff. Not quite as buffed as whistler but definately more real.

Gravesy will probably login and speak for himself on this one, but here's his blog post from www.jaredgraves.net

so basically ill post a proper report at a later date...but for now im so angry with the UCI that words cant describe.... was well out in front in the semi final of the 4x, and Scott Beaumont comes from 3rd, and in the 2nd turn, cuts across the flag, which is an automatic DQ, then t-bones me in the turn which should be a 2nd DQ, and he advances.... UCI officials didnt want to know anything about it, we have video.... clear as day evidence, and he clarly cuts the course and they couldnt care less...... its an absolute joke, i have never been so pissed off ever......i felt on for the win all night, and i got screwed over by a less than half ass...couldnt care less decision......UCI is a joke, you guys here suck! and whats worse is that nothing will happen to any of the officials for their decisions.... they just couldnt care......there was also multiple complaints from numerous riders from their decisions.....the UCI calls were all over the shop......i cant beleive no punches were thrown....its a WORLD CUP for crying out loud, get it together people! Do you people even know what money is invloved with getting riders to locations all over the world to contest the series for this to happen.....

whatever......next race....

Will be interesting to see the coverage on SBS when its aired.
