Okay, heres how it goes.... You list your team name, and the number of riders in it. And the bikes you will be riding in the 24hr. And any tactics you may have in mind, or lack of... And any other random things you feel important.
Template::
Team Name: "Three's a Crowd" (although this may change...)
Number of riders: 2 Man team
Bikes: KHS Team Alite - Giant Anthem (possibly)
Tactics: Make it through the first 10 minutes, and see how we feel.
Random: I have no lights, so that will need to be sorted. Also, with this whole 'hourglass lap' thing, the fun will be where we will change riders, and how long each stint will be. Also the drive home after 24hrs, but the ripple strips and screeching of tyres, and the odd blast of a horn if i wander across 3 lanes of traffic will help get me home in one piece.

Alright, I'll bite..
Team Name: SpoonBoy
Number of Riders: 1
Bikes: KHS Team Alite 4000, KHS Team XC904
Tactics: Don't sleep, Don't crash, Don't Die...
Random: I'm hoping enough of the big names will be overseas so that I can get close enough in lap count to the leader for a worlds qual spot.

Team Name: Team ExplorePlanetEarth
Number of riders: 4 (Ben, Simon, Pete, Nath)
Bikes: Giant Reign 0, Speccy Stumpjumper Pro, NRS 2, Speccy Enduro Comp
Tactics: Pete runs, Ben rides, Simon rides, Nath rides, repeat for 24 hours ('cept the running)
Random: We've always done a 6, and had intended to do so again however 2 are unable to commit....should be interesting. One of the 2 non-committers (sic?) provides all the camping gear, including one of those fold-out trailer thingys (technical term) so we've decided that, given that we'll be roughing it more so than usual, we'll get a room in a nice Canberra hotel for the Sunday night and get smashed.

Team Name: Don't know
Number of Riders: 6, I think ?,
Bikes: Err, my Ventana niner ss, girlfriend's on her Salsa Caballero, I think the guy I know has got a Reign 1. Don't even know who else is on the team.
Tactics: Discover more about the rest of my team, make it to the race on the day......
Random: I've almost no idea about my teams entry and it shows...........
I'm only doing it coz' some friends wanted some extra members and I thought it might be good to ride Stromlo.
Clearly we will not be taking the race particularly seriously, although I fully expect us to take out the overall win...

Team Name: Stick a fork in me...I'm done
Number of riders: 6
Bikes: Kona Rigid SS/GiantTrance3/Giant Talon/Trek Fuel7/Cannodale c.1998/Norco Bushpilot
Tactics: Have a rider on track at times - even if they take 24 hours to do a lap.
Random: One rider is coming in from UK, another Melbourne, I live 11mins (by bike) away. We have 3 first timers this year and hope to have a blast. I plan to switch on the MP3 and do a few night laps (4hrs) at my own pace. Red/Green its all good.
Team Name: Baikinman
Number of riders: Solo
Bikes: ha ha I wish. 3 months after being stolen I am STILL waiting on the insurance company to come through with the goods. Either a Scott Spark, KHS Team or Ventana Grasshopper
Tactics: Ride 2 laps, take a short break. Eat, drink, ride.
Random: I hate insurance companies. Especially when they outsource shit to other companies who completely suck at taking or returning phone calls.

Team Name: Scrambled Eggs
Number of riders: Solo
Bikes: Ellsworth Truth
Tactics: Go fast for 7 hours then settle into a cruisy pace.
eat and eat and eat then eat some more.
Push Spoonboy off the side of the big cliff,
try not to hit a log in the middle of the night like I did at the Aussie 24hr champs.

Team Name: 5 Guys and a Cupcake
Number of riders: 6
Bikes: Giant Reign X1/Specialized Enduro/Mongoose NX7.5 (might take them all for a spin), Merida AM, Giant Trance something or other, Specialised F/S (the one with the speccy 'brain' shock'), Scott H/T, unsure of last one.
Tactics: Push right pedal down. Push left pedal down. Repeat as necessary.
Random: Intend to continue my research into the effectiveness of Jack Daniels as a muscle relaxant and a prophalactic to leg cramps. It seems to have worked in previous years, although it does tend to repeat on the hills (and there is ONE BIG HILL this year)

Team Name: Team Haemorrhoids
Number of riders: 4
Bikes: I'm on a GT avalanche expert + Giant ATX 890 SS, egg has the Cannondale 700, dave's got a hot mongoose dual suspension XC thing (it's hot) plus his merida SS, and dick rides a wheeler 7800 circa 1993 (yes, he still runs indy Cs and thinks they go alright - hilarious)
Tactics: We tried 1-2-3-4 last year and it kinda sucked having a ~2hr nap between laps through the night (once you get your lights charged and your food in). We're thinking 1-2-1-2-3-4-3-4 might hit the spot. we might try and specialise and each rider will only hit A or B (not both). Oh, and starting a training program before the beginning of october. that could work.
Random: If you're haemorrhoids stand in your way, stop riding backwards.

Random: Ride & Smile!
[B]Tactics: The El Santo looks so hot everyone will crash as they are entranced by her beauty (the bike not the rider)
Or fall over from shock at the rider using a bell on the track! :)
