This is in the fixie thread aswell but I figured I'd check it here anyway. The latest addition to my stable. That makes 6 bikes total, 3 of them vintage road/track/fixed projects. This one has to be the favourite.

Kenevans track frame
No name chrome drilled fork
Tange HS
Sugino BB
Sugino Cranks
Egg Beater Candy SL pedals
Campy hubs
Velocity Deep V's
Cinelli Bars
Phil Cog
that's all I can remember......

Things to come:
Front brake (105 dual pivot)
Cyclo lever
Nokon Cable
Maybe a new saddle when I get some cash together again.

8-)

Lovin it!

OK really.... it's obvious from that comment that you know very little about bikes and that you're a completely ignorant person, but why not just leave it at that? You don't have to go and take an authoritive stance on what is boring and what's not and in the process, make yourself look even dumber.

On topic though, looks like a sweet bike from where I'm sitting. I'd like to one day build up/learn to ride a fixie. Definetely looks like fun stuff.

Thanks guys,

I'll post some better pics once it's finished.

Just gotta find a fork that'll work better than the one that's on there, 105 brake doesn't have enough reach for it.
:(

wow....how boringWow, how banned.

Bloody kids these days can't appreciate a good bike when they see one. Back when I was there age I would've saved all my pocket I could to buy one of these.

Thats a sweet fixie you've got there.
Just might be me, but the seat doesnt really fit in with the rest

lol... it's the original seat AFIK. Old battered San Marco.

But it will be getting a new one soon, probably just a new version of the same thing. :D

It's a turbo(?) so fits in with the age of the bike.
A Brooks Swallow black and matching leather bar tape would top it off though.

Yeah, I think that thing looks awesome.

One thing, I would ride that, not a GT Avalanche. :P

Nah, great bike, I assume it is for commuting? What ever it is meant for it looks great and yes so simple, but I suppose the more simple everything is the easier it is to maintain etc.

Great bike. :D
