If you I was you I would absolutely nuts and built jumps and big hits whereever I could. I think if you have a fair size hill start with a freeride track with large drops, jumps etc. Then end it with A set of massive djs with 1000s of lines to choose from.

Well, if you've got a decent hill, I'd suggest a DH track with all of the above incorporated throughout.

Maybe even a nice long round trail with all of the above as well. Good for rounding out your skills, fitness and can be constantly changed to suit your riding level.

My mum's house is built on a great big hill, but she never told me it was 32 acres with a bit of everything!!!

Seriously, think about maintenance costs and effort. The question should be is it better, cheaper and easier to have a secret private MTB heaven or put in the same effort into a club or local trail that all can enjoy?

How are you moving the soil? make sure you plan something before you build it. Just because its hard now will not mean its hard in a few months. try building some differnt things if you have heaps of wood. i find it best if you start from the bottom and work you way up when building rythem sections. post pics if possible so we know what we are working with.

Sounds dreamy, Well 32 acres of anything, just don't hold back. Trees and undulations make for a sweet Dh track and Clay/soil flat is your Djs. With the resources you sound to have some north shore or other exotic stuff could add personality to your tracks as well.
Just go nuts.

Private MTB heaven. You can walk outside your front door and start riding.

I have had a similar situation at my grandparents place in country Victoria. Get some friends over and try and get some stuff built.

One thing I definitely think is fun is a true "All Mountain" trail. I know some people who have a private one. It's pretty much a very technical XC course, but with long-ish climbs so you can get decent 2-3min flat out descents, with jumps. Great fun and you don't have to stop riding.

Well first of all  32 acres for you to use, LUCKY.

Well I guess if your land is on a slope, yes as johnny said build a DH track but if there isn't much of a slope, make North Shore, North Shore Jumps, and some DJ's.

I mean really you could have a bit of everything, and have numerous trails. Well good luck with all of it and I can't wait to see some construction pics. :D
