You've seen me, I'm as tall/probably taller than you and I quite like small frames. There is always the disadvatage of knees hitting etc while being a lanky bastard but most duallies are alright.
As for springs, if you've been running a 450 and you liked stick with it. If you want it to have more sag than run a 400 but 300 sounds a bit light even for you. I thought I'd have to get a lighter spring when I got my shore but 450 turned out alright, any lighter and it would be too much.
If a Ti spring says 300 and a steel spring says 300 well I would assume the only real difference would be the weight. Having said this however I haven't ridden a Ti spring before so I can't really comment on performance differences, if there is any.
EDIT: What bike you gettin'?????
what shocks it being run on? if it has air adjust as well you can just add some more air in if it feels too soft

Cheers for the feedback Tom.
The Steel spring is actually 350.
I found my 450 to firm for my liking.
Does anyone else use a 300 spring? How heavy are you?

Ignore what people have so far said about the spring poundage for 1, your Bullit and an Orange are way different suspension rates and etc and its pretty useless comparing the 2.
And 2nd, why didn't you bargain and say you'll buy it if he chucks both springs in? For 70kg on an 8 inch bike 300 or 350lb would fit. Oh and the bike would be fine for you Zac cause 15" was the only size Orange made then anyway, and I've rode a 222 similar to that and it didn't feel small at all. Your not that much taller than me.
