Hey everyone I am still looking for cranks for my suburban. I am starting to get desperate because it will be here in about 2 weeks and i want to ride it asap. Correct me if I am wrong but i need to get something with a euro BB and a 68mm shell. I was looking on CRC and found these http://www.chainreactioncycles.com/Models.aspx?modelID=19828 was just wondering what you guys thought of these. OR is there anything else on crc for the same sorta pirce that you think would be better? Also is 1.1kgs light or heavy for cranks and finally is that all i need if I buy those cranks or do i have to buy anything else? your help would be very much appreciated. Josh

Hey dude, you are aware that "EURO" is just a fancy bmx term for mounto bb... Pretty well any mountain bike cranks will fit... Also if money isn't a huge problem get deity.. They are expensive but jesus they are hot.

ok thanks i never new that. I want to run bmx cranks on it and would really like to run a bmx sprocket aswel. I will be running ss 90% of the time but if i am going on long ride through the bush I will take of the ss kit and put a derailer back on. So thats why I was looking at the hooka cranks.

Hey again i was just thinking about the whole euro BB thing and does that mean i can run a spanish or american BB on my suburban aswel? Or does it have to be a eruo BB? Any suggestions on bmx cranks that will fit my suburban that are reasonably light (i need a light bike im weak) would be very much appreciated. Cheers
no US BB is old style BMX, Spanish is euro bb size but its press fit instead of screw in i think but yeh you can only use euro bb cranks

By Ti BB you mean Ti spindle right..
Also, "Euro" is not a fancy name for "mounto BB" it is the propper name.
Most bmx bikes have Euro style BB's anyway.
there are external bearing BMX cranks here (http://www.fireeye-bike.com/cmccranksextype.html), here (http://dmrbikes.com/?Section=products&pageType=item&category=5&CategoryName=Cranks&itemid=CRKEXT)and probably others if you look around.
lighter, stronger, more durable.... dunno about price :o

What color do you guys think out of these two remember im getting an apple green suburban.
1 Chrome mtx or singletrak wheelset with chrome crank arms and other littlechrome things like seat clamp.
2 Black mtx or singletrack rims with powdercoated white cranks white seat white handlebars and stem and other little things?
Green and Chrome all the way !
