Bling is the word that comes to mind. I really love the spec too - seems well chosen parts.

I like the look, everything old is new again, very, very trick.
You weren't concerned about making it brittle? did they bake it post plating? Beautiful anyway.

It didnt cost me too much because the guy who did it, did it in spare time over 6 weeks... quotes i got from different places went from $200 to $400. So it is way more cost effective to paint bikes... i just wanted something a bit different.
Rhys... I hate chrome... ;)

Is this the only new bike you will be getting after your accident?
Or are you still looking to get a Baum or whatever it was that you wanted?
Nice NS!!! Chrome looks great.
Is this the only new bike you will be getting after your accident?
Ill be buying new bikes forever!
I still havent recieved any insurance money yet. But depending on how much they will give me will depend on which new fixie i go for. I might just get another Surly Steamroller because then i dont have to wait 3 months for a new frame! The Steamroller will be raw this time, and will pretty much have the same kind of spec. I cant wait!

Looks amazing... have you considered putting NS decals back on it? Also did the chrome add much weight to the frame?

Beautiful beyond words dude.
Looks amazing... have you considered putting NS decals back on it? Also did the chrome add much weight to the frame?
Yeah it did, it was about 2.4kg with paint on it. Paint wouldve been about 100g ish, and now it weighs 2.5kg. So the chrome was approx 200g...
Im not sure whether i want to put NS decals back on it. Im a minimalist at heart... just check out the rest of my bikes!

Leave it stickerless, it gives it a smooth and stealth look in my opinion!

It is possible that i might do a fork upgrade... however i dont like many street forks these days! So not sure what to look for, maybe a Nemesis Z1. :)
That bike is so damn clean!

that is sex on wheels :)
You weren't concerned about making it brittle? did they bake it post plating? Beautiful anyway.
Sorry I missed you floody. I wasnt too concerned about making the frame brittle, I thought about it a bit... but who cares, its shiney!
They dont bake the frame after plating. Just buff the frame up and make it shiney when its ready to come out of the tank...
Cheers for all the comments guys!

You should get Nemesis Project to chrome/polish some lowers for you...
did you get any problems with the extra thickness of the chrome?
or did you get the sensitive spots covered in something?

well my brother owns one

It wasnt so much of a problem, as the chrome is VERY thin. However, the headset was a squeezy fit in, so it will most likely spend its life in this frame!
