does anyone here ride the trail called lefty or ronnies run if so my mates and i are thinking of having a maintenece day on it if anyone else is interested add a reply or just come along should be a fun day anyone who dosent know where it is its in rangeville on kara view court right at the bottem it starts at the end of a 4x4 road

for anyone wondering its more dh trail but there is a bit of xc and a few good dirt jumps at the top and near the middle come along i know ive seen heaps of people there

another thing that needs your attention is that if you do ride it there are a few ways of getting shuttles for it but most of them are probs illegal

Mate, sorry to burst your bubble but the whole trail is illegal. Your hard work will probably get flattened when council realise that there is activity there again. I am not sure if you are/aren't associated with TMBC, but they have put in a heap of work to get legalised trails in this area and are continuing to work with council to develop more trails for mtb'ers. If you are interested in building, get involved with TMBC and attend our trail maintenance days, channel your hard work into something that isn't going to be destroyed. The more support we have from enthusiastic people the faster things can progress.
I suggest if you are going to continue with work on illegal trails, that you keep it out of the forums, as they are monitored fairly well by authorities.

thanks for notifieing me but i dont think it is illegal because my mate knows the guy that owns the property and he lets us use it

how do you become a member of tmbc and do you have to pay or be obliged to turn up to things lol

Congrats if you know the land owner and have permission to ride there.

Apparently the top half is privately owned, however the bottom is council owned, hence the massive firebreak they have put in... Possibly not the best idea to go around posting track locations also.

nah the council dosent own the bottem im pretty sure we dont go down that far anyway once you get to the boring bit even that is our friends property so we just push up from there
