I was heading out for a ride this morning and look what turned up at my door!
<p align=center>[/url]</p>

Bill from DHDirect.com.au (http://www.farkin.net/image.php?image=17b5db394caada6d3a68ed2f04feaa5e.j pg><img) had hooked me up with a Da Bomb CR8 BMX, sweet! All 4130 construction, 13" frame, BMX bottom bracket, horizontal dropouts, adjustable disc brake mounts...this is one sick little frame.
<p align=center> (http://www.farkin.net/image.php?image=0ffb6f7b3e4a8adce3a78166ffac54cc.j pg><img)</p>

The frame was built up singlespeed with an assortment of Da-Bomb parts including Shinburger pedals (http://www.farkin.net/image.php?image=aec390cc6e97239846b46299d491b0eb.j pg><img), stem (http://www.farkin.net/image.php?image=5620b765ccfdf913c467c3cfceb15fce.j pg), cranks, sprocket and grindplate (http://www.farkin.net/image.php?image=f17f456f2b10fde8a2e0df2775d3b03e.j pg). It also featured Ydopen hydraulic disc brakes, which on inspection are exactly the same as Armor or Dice hyro's. Manitou Black's handled suspension duties up front.

The bike got taken on an early morning cross country loop this morning, honking around in a single gear nearly killed me and the pedals proved to be drastically lacking in grip as soon as they got water on them.

At the skatepark this arvo it got some hardcore erbon abuse (http://www.farkin.net/image.php?image=4fe10603d03c96e3289a4fdd46b65877.j pg). oMGzor! a grnid on a mountainbikes! (http://www.farkin.net/image.php?image=a47a64610a4c9dbe9dae2adec8ef2b07.j pg)

While also at the skatepark Dom broke out the style on his nu-skool street DH bike, and Ty busted flatty's over the hip on his BMX.

We'll be testing this baby for the next 3 weeks so be sure to check in for a review when it gets pried out of hands.

Sweet ride there!

How were the Manitou Black's in the 'urban/park' environment? Not to flexy? or soft?

Thanks
