The sunshine series round 5 is comming up in a few weeks at Brookfield and I was hoping you guys could tell me about the track.
Firstly, compared to upper Brookfield, if this track stepper/harder to ride? also is the mud map the same as the upper brookfield track?(my computer won't open it for some reason)
here's a link

But more importantly are there any nasty bits that are steep and rocky, like the illinbah A-line? Or any bits that are extremley technical, and an unexperienced rider such as me would go over the handlebars and eat it ? I'd like to know because I'm still deciding whether I should go to the race or not.
thanks for your feedback
cheers.:)

hey i say you should go for it, i race because its fun and if i win (unlikely) then great !!! its a bonus! but yeah go for it mate, do it on a XC bike, if you think some parts are hard and technical then slow down, pick your line, and ride through it carefully, there for building your experience up and not hurting your self or the bike then get more confident and ride it faster next time depending on how you feel about it :) but main thing is not to worry about a thing. theres always going to be some one better than you and some one worse.

fine then chase1 i won't give him any advice and i'll tell him his bike is not suited to downhill and that he should get a new one.
p.s. i know nothing about the nursing home
I'm over the crap bike bit, now I'd just like to know what the track is like
ps. the nursing home bit is part of his signature, he isnt blaming you for burning down a nursing home

Uhmmm... I haven't raced this course in two years but if it's the same as it was then you're in a bit of trouble. It's a short course so fitness won't be an issue, but it'd pretty damn steep and ends in a flat 40 metre rock garden, followed by a jump and the finish line.

It is a pretty hard track. But if it does it kill you it makes you stronger
