I know it's a boring question, but I'm trying to find some nice single track XC riding. I'm new to Sydney and in the Eastern Suburbs. Is there any weekly MTB racing? Is there and Enduro series up here? Blue Mts sounds great but not really close. Any links etc greatly appreciated. I've a great new bike and nowhere to ride it:rolleyes:Might have to take up surfing. Did the 2000 Olympic MTB track survive for public use?

you will have to go north (manly dam, Red Hill, Oxford falls) or south to Royal national park to ride.
Manly dam could be accessed by ferry and a short ride, but red hill and oxford falls would take a bit more by PT.
Royal Nat Park I believe is accessable by train, but I obviously don't really know.
Enduro series is the WWS - Working Week Series - see www.brightorangeevents.com.au - they also run the NZO events. There are a few 100km events around too, notably the highland fling in november and dirtworks in may.
