I kinda think it's a bad idea.Here is a group trying to get recognised for off ride cycling.We want help and be backed up from not only riders and bike shops,but council as well.Yet it's advertising a ride day on an illegal trail that we all know was recently trashed.

We could organise a ride on the sutherland road riding track, but I don't think that would get as many numbers as a short dh trail would. If we had somewhere legal to ride we would, but we don't and thats what we are hoping to accomplish by getting peoples names down on paper, and to show the council there are people who ride downhill bikes in the area, and something should be done to cater for the riders.

Yeh,that's all good.But a council rep could see it as,we all know it's illegal and the body council that is representing us is involved with acts that could land people on trouble.It would'nt look good for ORCSS.

Just Jans Alley, at the moment, Ill ask some other track builders see if they're keen to let us ride their tracks.

We are all under 18, so yes it will be fine (bar afew), yes we are riding from the station.

Kinda don';t get why there is a thread here and in the dh section,but meh.As stated as above age is no barrier(i'm over 18 Chris,geesh what happen to our connection).Othe rider will be able to guide you from the station if needed.Stay tuned for riding and track updates.

Tonight was insightful to peoples reasons as to why they'd like to hold a ride day at jans ally.I just disagree with it because that track has copped some crap over the past few months,and it was even trashed.I'd hate to see a minority of people/group have the blame put on them if anything went wrong.

I'll most likely be there on sunday for the ride and support the orcss group.

Everyone is riding at there own risk.

I kind of agree with fleshbone - probably a good idea to keep a bit of distance between ORCSS (which is a good idea), and organised rides on tracks like this. That said, big ups to the people who cleaned up Jans Alley after it got trashed - you did a really good job.

DAMM busted my shoulder at karajong last sunday i would so come but cant ride :( well cant jump or do anything but commute bugger really wanted to go and hit up these trails for a while o well
