May come for a spin. Guaranteed to be softer than a blanket made from live baby ducks though, just spent 3 months in China riding like a mancy.

You sleep?
More like hibernation to make up for the lack of sleep. It was a 3pm wake up on Sat, and a 3:30pm on Sunday. Felt sooo good :)

You sleep?

Yes, upside down in his closet. Something about improving his times, or to keep his banning hand soft, I can't recall ;)

Cripples, the lot of you!.

I'll be there... In my wheelchair.

It'll be nice to meet all you flame warriors in the flesh.

I know what you mean Arpit, it's like a recovery sesson after a footy game. Anyone else injured and want to ride?
As we have so many new faces, I drive a Blue Jeep Sports, and Oddjob drives a white Suburu Forester. If you see either vehicle then introduce yourself. My real neame is, strangly enough Tony.

Bugger Squid, BOM has "chance of afternoon thunderstorm" today.

Hopefully it doesnt eventuate. I am on the Nicole Vicars (the local ranger) email list so if the track gets closed I'll do my best to post it up here in time to notify you all. However, if we only get a short shower then I say lets do it, i havnt ridden in ages and I'm keen as mustard to hit the trails.

I went riding on Malabar headland today and there was a fair amount of mud so odds are there will still be a fair bit at Manly, has anyone ridden it recently?

I'm on the list too so don't stress if you can't get online. Alchemist will most probably beat us to posting it though!

I try!

I wont make Saturday, but will be doing a lap before getting stuck into the trail work on Sunday. 7:50 at the Hydro lab.

Very thunderstormy. In St Ives there is a veritable hurricane. Should we ride Manly Dam tomorrow, we may get drowned in the maelstrom that is the creek crossing.

I think it should be alright, how heavy is the rain?

I'm pulling out - I've got a very sore knee. My doctor says It's an overuse injury, and it should have recovered long ago.

Apparently, because I keep riding on it, instead of letting it recover, I'm re-injuring it.

He said I could ride tomorrow if I wanted to, but that if I did, I'd be sore when I do 120km at Canberra the week after next.

:(

25-30mins = you're stupidly bloody quick
30-35mins = you're moving
35-45mins = you're an average punter like myself
45mins+ = you're either taking your time, sectioning, or in need of some serious training.

If it makes you feel better, there are some folk known for taking up to, and sometimes over 2 hours for a lap...
I reckon you could walk it faster then that but oh well.

thanks for the info. My lap time aint too bad then. I need to improve 4 minutes to be classified as 'moving'. i guess i can do it soon if i push hard enough.

2 hours? Surely that would involve multiple stops?!
