Kempsey Downhillers

is there anyone in the kempsey arear who wants to start a downhill club.last year someone told me that they were starting a club in south west rocks but i havent herd anything since,there is also the guys form the point and cresent head the aim is so we can get together and try and get somthing happening.

We've got a crew of 8-10 at the moment, and I'm sure a lot of them would be very keen to do some racing. Where would it take place? (Kempsey I guess huh :o) I can check with the LBS if they know anything about SWR etc.
I don't think the local MTB club here will be too helpfull, but it's worth approaching them... pm me if you want to get our heads together.

I don't know if you have ridden the track we used for a State DH round a year or so ago, but it's still there. It needs a bit of work but maybe we could have a club race there or something, we should be able to get the Kempsey MTB club invlolved.
