Enjoy your riding and don't think that the bike in any way has any impact on your fun - in other words smile and don't worry about spending a stack of money on stuff you don't need. You'll be better off for it, once the addiction for spending money on bikes sticks it's damn hard to shake.

Yep bob the builder here is right. Just have fun, keep smiling and your MTB experience will be a great one. Get out there on some social rides with some of the people in your area too, it is heaps of fun, and a great way to make new mates. :D

All MTBer's are really nice, so they will be happy to go out for a ride with you can show around the tracks. :D
