King Of Dirt, QLD OCT6

DK king of dirt 2007 moves on October 6 to a new multi-user dirt jump facility at Pine Rivers Park, Strathpine
Last year's DK King of Dirt BMX bike competition was held in Albany Creek. Registration opens on September 10 for the Pro competition, as well and Beginner and Expert categories stunts on display will include backflips, double tail whips and front flips.
Last year a fair few mtb riders were there competing it would be cool to see more riders out there this time.. 1st prize for pro is $1000 :eek:

went down to pine rivers park today to see what was going on..no shaping of the lips but they are some crazy jumps. there is a major ass roll in, and on the left is a pack of 3 tabletops about 5ft + high and pretty long and to the right of them is the pro pack. which are like massive. they will be sick once completed. i dont got the balls to do the big ones but the tabletops will be fun.

Still go along on the day, see if you can? If not check out the crazy shit that no doubt will be going on from the BMX guys.

MTBs will definatetly be allowed to enter. I have been talking with the organisor and he is happy for anyone with two wheels to come along. You will probably be competing in a class with BMXers, but if enough MTBs are there it might be enough to get a MTB specific class in 08.

Start by putting a pin in your head so it shrinks a little. :rolleyes: You might jump a bit better too.
