INTENSE M1. Are worth what??

hey hey..

i have an 2003 intense m1 with all the bling shit (world cups, avid 7, mavic, mrp, easton, race face, maxxis, 5th element ect..) most of the parts are 2005 or so.. i never ride it and it has a new paint job and oil and ceals/bushes... and before i put it up for sale i just wanted to know what you goons think it is worth.. i was thinking $2500..

and i have not put it in the for sale secton cos i dont know if i want to sell it. but i will depending on the how much you guys think its worth..

The value of 2nd hand bikes has dropped significantly in the last couple of years. Its hard to say exactly what its worth as it depends how many people are after an M1 at the time. Have a look around the forsale forum to get an idea of what people are getting for their bikes - obviously the ones with endless bumps and no bites would suggest that either the price is far to high or that there is no-one interested in that particular bike...

Also, what is it worth to you? I have a bike thats worth far more to me than what I could get 2nd hand for it, so selling it isnt always the best option.

yeah it was.. but i got it done professional and it has brases in there that make it look better than what it did to start with... and way more stiff. and rad.. like the movie.

i also have an M1, the hannahs old one. its got similar specs, (boxxers, king, mrp, shimano, profile, eastern, sram, mavic). and iv had offers of over 5 grand for it, but i picked it up real cheap. just thort id chip in my 2 cents

Not necessarily the case mate....if the bike has some history (ie. Hannahs and he had a win/podium on it) and it's been unused since and there's proof of previous history..... it's worth what ever some one is willing to pay.....

its the exact bike tracey won her 02 and i think 03 junior worlds on. never hucked, tip top A1 condish. so yes, its a beautiful bike with top track record.

BTW - A Haro DHR isnt quite the same as an Intense M1... Your question should be; "how much is my haro dhr worth...." and after seeing it, 1200 is pretty reasonable.

in 02 she was 14 to young.

Intense m1 was around longer then the haro. In the 90's nearly every single bike company had resprayed m1's for there race bikes. Intense was already a company, they did not peel away.

Yours infacts look to be one of the ones with an m1 main frame, and uzzi rear end and tower.

Yeah, who ever told you thats on drugs MattyBoi. I used to ride with Tracey on that black bike and it definitely wasn't an Intense M1, but it rattled alot though.

This is a HARO DHR as i used to own this one and sold it to this guy who resprayed it white as you see it here.
It origionally was blue. I believe Scott Sharples had 1 and Robbie Mac had another....they had (made under licence - Intense) or words to that effect on the rear triangle.
