They dont look bent at all...just...uh...rustic...
66's are probably pushing it on an STP...seen a few floating around and they not only look rediculous, they probably handle like you would drive a boat. Your best bet would be say a set of Z1s/AMs or there abouts...the new 55s would also be worth a look but you will need a new hub though as most forks around that travel mark have a 20mm axel. The Z1s are probably the best bet on a budget though...

Good luck!

i know it would be pushing it, i want something with around 150/170 travel because i'm planning to buy a new frame. the hubs a QR/20mm hub so i'm all sweet with that.

thanks.

Umm are you just dumb or are you stupid?
Stp's have the best parts for the price they sell at.
And if they had shit parts why would half the mtbing world buy one?
(not trying to bag any stp owners out here)
Lastly he has some VERY good parts on there.

Looks good bud, cant wait to see the finnised product.

E13 STS (36T) is one that comes on the STP 0 (diabolus cranks) and the STP pro (saint cranks). I imagine it would fit but can't say I know much about them, never used one for long enough.... oh and hint hint I'm selling mine off the STP 0 if you're interested (http://forums.farkin.net/showthread.php?t=115695)

Your Stp does look a bit strange with long forks, spose like mine looks strange with the seat post all the way up:D

STS is really just made for smaller chainrings. In his case (by the spec) it looks to be a trail build. So an SRS or LG1 would be the best two options.

There are plenty of other options too. Different brands etc. I run a race face diablos with an e13 bashy on my stp and it seems to do the job fine.

Cheers, I specified the 36T as I wasn't sure what he was running. Obviously the STS won't suit a dual ring set up or anything bigger than 36.

Geez that's some serious stopping power up front! Just noticed the rotor size.

wow that's a pretty wild stp you're going to have there..
my mate has those forks on a .243 racing frame, they can't turn past 90' because they don't go under the downtube!!
