damn that is wide, they would be awesome for wide and fast tracks I suspect.
too wide for the majority of australian tracks imo, fitting those in between trees at speed would be a pain in the ass
If i was to run them id need bar extensions.
Thats a motorbike tyre! the bars make it look like a kids bike tyre.

It's for a tandem bike,the side by side kind(funny eh,not really).
If you feel out of control with those things, you better start doing a diffrent sport.

I'm keen- remember that at the moment the widest bars are 710mm (Burgtecs will be 740mm)- 9cm is not going to make a difference in terms of fitting between trees, and you can cut them down if you want (the trees, not the bars). Shame they're in oversize though.
9cm WILL make a difference when going between tight trees.
How wide is too wide? Im not sure, but 710 is plenty for me... infact, 700 is ample im just too lazy to cut mine down.
Whats with the trend for super wide bars anyway? Hill, Rennie wanna be's? or is their something else...?
well rennie and hill only use 720's, if they wanted any wider they would have asked to get wider

What bars you running boy?
I agree, 600mm is probably too big for most riders. Burgtec's 740's are looking good though, scandinum alloy too!

Mmmm a hefty price tag too I expect, usually the case with burgtec products. I guess its for a reason though.

Dave get with the times man 31.8 is were it is at. And now that 31.8 is as lite or lighter and stronger why would you use an inferior item :) wait till you see these bars 275grms for the Gravity Lite in 710x40x31.8 or if you want to go super lite and super bling 199grms for the gravity carbon I can't wait for these big arse bars.

Another interesting bar is the 710mm wide Gravity Carbon bar, which now comes in 25mm (1" = low) rise. 206g.

I was quite sure hill did?
yes since he runs 720's, which no one makes in production

If you wanted to feel extra kool and special, you could try and run like a 1/4 of your grip on the bar so you feel like your running them as wide as the best. ;)

would be sweet to have sum even if you cut them down to 760-750mm.
710mm i find is ok but would fill nice to be around the 750mm mark.
