oh and dont say "make up your mind are you really going to sell" etc etc etc..... as i know i have been stuffing around chainging my mind a hell of a lot but this is DEFINATLY going i sort of bought it in a bit of a rushed decision i wanted it but there were other people who also wanted it and i had the money so i jumped in with my hands tied behind my back before i really thought about what i was doing and i got a rough estimate on prices to build it up with parts from o/s which i knew was a long way off our prices but i didnt know exactly how far, o/s $300 for a set of hugi freeride hubs here $1000!!! so i have enough to build it up with mediocre parts or i can get a brand new WHITE (only 2 in australia) bb7 with top of the line parts for the same price

Yeah I would put it on my Ryde if I still had it.

Plans are for new linkages and shock for a big hit so I need an eye to eye length of 8.75"...

But I guess it won't make shit all difference if I have 6.3" or 8.1" in the rear because either way, I will still have to wait for Neko to catch up before I can begin pushing back up the trail again.

its an 8.5 inch (or close) eye to eye just measured and thats around what it is (doesnt help that the collars in the way of putting a tape measure against the shock) so yea 8.5 it is, close enough for you? (itll drop ur bb down and slacken your head angle a TINY bit that all...) if you do decide to take it....

Decide on a price and I'll let you know.

I'm not keen on the slacking the head angle off, because I'm already going to be running some pretty high forks.

Jays, are you trying to upgrade the a-line already mate? or did you not get that in the end?

jays_5000
29-02-2004, 09:32 PM
Nah, no A-line for me anymore.

if daver doesnt want the spare shock with the frmae he says he probably doesnt but he might sell his bullit frmae with it.... then how does $300 sound, its an as new (ask daver theres not a scratch on it) 03 thts barely been ridden...

I'm 99% sure M1s do in fact use 8.75" eye to eye shocks. Were you measuring exactly from the middle of the eyelets? Because 1/4" is only about 6mm...

might just be me........ lol

Yes, the Intense M1 runs a 222mm eye to eye shock. Unless you have one of the new ones designed around a 5th element which runs a slightly longer shock.

lotecsiriusconcept,
Where about in blackheath are you, I'm in katoomba and i can't say i've seen you round at all.
Do you know Timon or any of the guys up there?
Let me know when you get ur bike running and we can hook up 4 a ride.
