just a question to someone who is up there or has heard from a mate about the track
what is it,like fast and flowy?or technical and tight?
do you get me
sammydog

I'd say a bit of both, but tomorrow night we will know what the riders think, and we as a club will know what does and doesn't work on the trail and what needs to be changed.

Just back from the track (yes I left early).
Track is looking good, but is wearing in a bit quicker (politically correct way of saying blowing out) than I expected in parts. Riders all seem pretty happy that I have spoken to.
We know now what works and what doesn't in a race sense, so expect some changes next time we have a big race.
As I left the machinery had just rolled in to clear the second car park, which should cater nicely tomorrow for any additional traffic.
All up a great day so far and even better weather. Thanks to all who have come to ride.

Best track I've ever been on, just about any part of it would be the highlight on most other tracks!
I didnt speak to a single rider all who wasnt stoked on the track, but at the same time I dont think I spoke to anyone who hadn't had at least a couple of off's. Hard is the word!:)

Well the Saturday is gone, and I can honestly say, it's an absolutely awesome track! For sure, some things will need to be changed next time, (specifically referring to Lenny's Lefty, and Nicho's super sketch log jump) but for the moment, it's awesome! Love the final double and fireroad.
I crashed four times today, once in the rock garden hard! If your heading out tomorrow with a camera, stick by the rock garden and you will get crash pics till your hearts content.
Now who got pictures/film?! :p

The guy who snapped his bars was Grant. Those cray Musswellbrook riders don't know when to slow down.
Terrible to hear about your arm Daver. Hopefully yoú'll heal quickly and be able to come up for a ride one weekend.

Hope the Monkey survives the weekend ok. Some bits are a bit blown, but you gotta expect that. All in all, it's holding up alright.

Lenny's Lefty and the Wombat Gap were both on the cards to be altered (read removed) before the race, we just didn't have time.
Those lines will remain open after the race weekend for general riding (and work will be done in the switchbacks to make them more stable) but there is a new race line in the planning stages.

Not wrong, Jimmy has outdone him self in the lead up to the race (along with Rick, Coleen and Dave). Still want to thank anyone who helped out in anyway though during planning/construction.
Have to admit though, I am a bit worried about the condition the trail (I want to call the trail by the picture symbol, kind of like price,) will be in after the weekend. Large patches look pretty good still, but other sections, hmmmmmm. People still seem to be enjoying it though.

Well it's a new trail, and this is it's first test being ridden. I agree that there are patches of undesirables, but since the trail has only been completed a fortnight, it's hardly unexpected. People should understand that it's only a new track, and if they're still enjoying it, why not?

.
Just like to thank the helpers, and to that guy that was on Sat digging the road to get the buses moving (HMBA shirt) and when the trailer broke Sun,also seen him around the track all weekend still working while every one else was riding,(did he ride at all?) You are a true CHAMP!!! Sammydog you need more guys like him.
