shore 3 or atomik

hey guys, I have finally decided on one of 2 bikes. The Norco shore 3 07 or Norco Atomik 07. I was hoping you could tell me which bike has the better spec and your opinion on it. I will be using it for downhill/freeride mainly at my local downhill track. would a medium be a good size?? I am 173 cm tall and still growing so yea your advice would be greatly appreciated.

what's your main aim with your new bike? option to race DH or more hitting up trails? Both bikes will do what you've mentioned, and well. But, which one do YOU like? Have you ridden both of them? If not, take them for a spin.

I'd go the Atomik, just to make Sutek look like a nob, but that aint hard is it :rolleyes: :D:p

i would be using it for the local downhill track, stromlo and occassionaly thredbo. I would not be racing and i dont mind the look of either. Since i live in wagga i cant really test ride one because none of the shops have them in stock :(

hmmm, it's a tough one mate... I think the Shore could be the one... it's a bit more versitile having single crowns, so you'd be able to play around with all sorts of disciplines and find your calling... Like I said, both bikes will do it, and personal preference would make your decision.

i would go the shore but i would actually get an 08 ont they are lighter and better specced so yer wait a little and save a bit more and you can get a better bike the 07 atomik isnt that good so yer go the shore it will suit your needs well as for size are you big and muscly if not i would go the small it would be a lot more easy to through around i am about your height and ive got a small atomik which is perfect for me so yer i would also find some of the local riding guys and have a ride of some of their bikes to also make a decision
