Fitting a bolt through rear hub on an 06 Stinky

Hey i am looking for a new hub for my 2006 Kona Stinky. What i was wondering if you can use a bolt through axle type (10mm or 12mm) on this bike. I ask this question because the 06 stinkys come stock with a deore QR hub (now has bearings the shape of a square) and i thought a bolt through hub might help to stiffen the rear end.

Also what hubs would you suggest? A couple that I have found that look like good value for money are the da bomb hubs.
