I thought i would post this stuff for anyone who has trouble cleaning their bike.
Its obviously called Finish Line Bike Wash, and it rocks!
All i needed to clean my P2 today was a bottle of this stuff and a dry cloth, i sprayed on and whiped off a couple of times, and that was it. :P
I used to have alot of trouble getting dirt stains off my bike and now they come off with ease... 8)
I highly recommend this product

I got it from Bicycle Recycle for 22 dollars.
Heres a pic of it.

to get the stains off my bike i use this citrus stuff that is ment for removing stickers and stuff. it works beautifully and i have been using it for about 3 years now, so there's no paint stripping or anything from it. its cheap as well, i used to go to my LBS and use there bike lust, its like the same as that finish line stuff but u can buy it in buckets and its cheaper

I use anything lying around the house to wash my bike... usually kitchen or laundry detergent, sometimes carwash.

I like some of the Finish Line products though, I tell ya what, their Bike Lust is awesome, really makes the bike look new again, plus helps it stay clean.

Is the bike lust the same as bike wash ?

Nah, it's a silicone based polish. Shines the bike up good, and leaves a glossy finish that dust can't adhere to.

Shampoo, if it's good enough for car detailers it's good enough for my bike (plus it's usually lying around). Bike lust is great if you've got it.

Probably explains my state of mind then, I use too much of the stuff ;)

You'll be suprised at what you have at home and how good it is at cleaning.
Spray and Wipe isn't just for kitchen distasters, it's great for giving your bike a quick clean. Furniture polish like Mr Sheen is almost as good as Bike Lust for getting a shine. Hairspray is good for getting grips on. Baking soda makes for a good rotor cleaner (when used properly). Baby powder in your tyres makes things better for getting big tubes in and also lessens friction in them when inflated. The list goes on...

Mr Sheen is also fantastic for removing grease. In my motorbike days it was all I ever used on my rims; removed the chain grease off them & brake dust/other crap better then anything else.

peachy

Yeah well i was told windex and that worked but then my dad who is a mechanic said not to use it as it will take paint off after a while of using it because of the amonia in it...
So i figured i should get the right stuff rather then risk it :)
