I am getting really sick and tired off going to our jumps and finding jumps have beed cased and not fixed, the 2nd downramp off our jumps has dropped at least 1/2 of a foot due to this and the upramp is getting rooted, this is due to people braking into after the 1st jump.
Also i am consistently finding the shovels out, and i have a fair idea of who it is, this happens all the time, and if i find it has happened once more you know who you are will not be welcome there agian, and i dont know if you know where our pick(mattok, whaterver it is, the yellow handled one) and our long handled garden master shovel is but i paid for them and are blaming it on you guys if they are lost because they are constantly left out, i mean fuck they sit what 3 meters from the jumps, is it really that hard to put them back?
So next time you go down there you can leave thing as you found them, that includes shovels and picks, or replace them (us guys who built them have all chipped in to buy digging stuff), or you wont be welcome.
Who says you own the jumps?

i knew that was coming, i owned the shovel and pick, and mates and i are the only people who have dug there, these guys just leave stuff lying around and dont fix jumps, its a known rule at trails to leave things how you find them,
any other queries fell free
cause you built all the jumps didn't you curtis ? and besided rik, i think he's right, even if he doesn't own them. if someone builds something and then lets you ride them, you should have some respect ey.
its a known rule at trails to leave things how you find them
Well why did you dig the jumps, when you know you should leave things how you found them?
Maybe I should have left them as I found them and not told you about them, Mark.

common sense
1.put tools back where u found them
2.repair jumps after u have ridin them
3.and respect the builder of the jumps
4.and NEVER make a double a table top or roll over a double (alambie kids)

steve found them in a unjumpable status, there had been knowbody down ther in a long time, and there were 1 and 1/2 jump both unjumpable, so we rebuilt everything, the plot dosent thicken
rik, this affects you how ? butt out i say..
i rememeber in the first few days mark and i put atleast 2 solid days building... yes steve found them but the effort has been laid so some people should respect that fact...
PLUS mark bought $80 worth of tools for the peoples jumps... personally i think its whoever puts the most effort into the jumps, jumps...
edit: spelling

they could have been left how they were but that doesnt benefit anyone... infact its a waste of space  people are getting enjoyment out of these and they cant just take the enjoyment and not give anything back....
i know i feel guilty if i dont do anything for someone who has done something for me...

Number 4 isn't an issue here, if you tried to roll these you'd be in some serious trouble. One of the pits is more than 8ft down from the top of the lip, you can stand in it and your head is BARELY above ground level.

we had 1 at my jumps that was just under a metre into the ground and a kid rolled it and that was 1 of the reason's our old jumps got knocked down but it was all worth it to see this kid fall in the hole.
LOL
rik, this affects you how ? butt out i say..
How does it affect YOU? How about YOU butt out?
He's making a statement, I'm just showing him the other side of his point. Can you explain what's wrong with that? Because right now you're doing nothing more than dribbling for the sake of it. Can you give me a good reason why I shouldn't say what I'm saying? Because I can give you a reason why you shouldn't be posting: Your post is fucken useless.
There's nothing wrong with a bit of debate, if he can't justify his views, then why should he force them on others? I'm just poking and prodding to get the justification. Nothing wrong with that at all, especially when there's no malice.

I apologise, as i think i would be one of the culprits that has been braking in between the jumps, but i haven't touched the shovels or touched the second jump. Sorry again, I will no longer brake in between the jumps!
how is he forcing them on other rik ? he's fucking saying that while he doesn't mind people jumping, he wants people to fix them up if they screw them up. would you get cut if you and your mates spent hours making some prime jumps and then let people jump them, only to render them jumpless ? would you like to see the other side of your point ? and if you think he should see the other side of it, i say let the culprits stand up for themselves.

well it seems that everytime after you boys have been i find shovels all over the place and this time some missing

The thing is, unless it's on private property that they have access to, then it doesn't matter as it's open slather.
I know what he's on about, I've been in that situation before, I'm just highlighting the point that unless you own the land, there's not much you can do about it.
alright, point taken. btw, is it on private property ?

As i said i didn't touch the shovels because I didn't case or have any need too, there were other people there when we left. Although I have been braking in between the jumps which I will now stop doing. I'm pretty sure you saw me and my friends when we were on our way back and we didn't have any shovels with us, why the hell would we steal shovels anyway?
mark has a faily good point,
just put back the stuff where u got it from.
common sense, i have never been there so u cant blame me!

I agree, I'm just apologising for what I now know what I have done wrong and defending my self for what I haven't.
Screw this, I'm hiring a trailer and stealing all your stuff just out of spite.
Although I have been braking in between the jumps which I will now stop doing.
as far as i know braking in between jumps isnt bad UNLESS you dont fix it !!

It's not bad unless you do it on the lip, in which case you are both stupid and probably about to get hurt. Skidding, well that's never good, but there are worse things you can do.
simple, just fix what u wreck, that should go with all the trails, jumps, gaps etc.
i know i feel guilty if i dont do anything for someone who has done something for me...

maybe i feel guilty about things?? maybe i have forgotten?? god, leave me alone. if im not perfect.... sorry.... :?

you have a trailer big enough to put all the shovels in bunnings in, why hire one?

Ya dude, I know it all. That's why I'm making millions out of the bike industry. Everything I say is an opinion (even though I tend to be pretty forceful :P) and should still be treated as such.

Some guy on a 4 Hun, we didn't touch the shovels, we tried to find the broom but couldn't and there was a shovel left in between some jumps but we thought that they were left there by you or one of the makers so we didn't touch.
how about we just drop this big convo, its going mayhem!!!

okay.
few things bout trails.
braking between jumps:
-ok if you dont skid. Steer OFF the kicker, not brake on it. less force, less damage, no munched up bombholes(skids) or kickers.
fixing stuff:
just fill in where you cased. DO NOT alter the shape. at all
Rolling jumps:
get out.
