Kripy Kreme Doughnuts

For all those who know these Doughnuts.
To me, these are the NICEST doughnuts ever made!! I love them so much.
When they were doing a promotion in the city, we got a box of 12 for free!! OMG OMG SO NICE!!

But what do you guys think?

Hate 'em... deep fried sugar, coated in sugar. Sure, they're nice for a bite or 2, but after that... :sick:
Another thing I dislike about them is their marketing, it's very clever, creating anticipation ever so slowly, but still, I just don't like it, especially when it's such an unhealthy food.

KK are horrible!!! Donuts should NOT ooze!!

I don’t eat doughnuts much…but the best I’ve had were in Tim Horton’s in Canada (but I hear there quality has dropped) and there is a local bakery here that makes killer ones.

i hate deep fried foods food and try to steer clear of them as much as i can, but i sometimes slip up. but i gotta say, i haven't had a donught in over a year.

Whilst I am currently concerned about my eating, I'm not an overly pedantic person when it comes to nutrition.
I just don't like the idea of eating an excessive amount of something that is no good for me. I'm with bryn on the fried foods thing as well... it ain't good for you, no matter how nice it may taste.
Australia is slowly becoming overweight/obese, last thing we need is for people to worship KK. I know of alot of people that can sit with a 12pack next to them and eat it over a few hours, washing it down with coke. I'd love to see how the end up in 10-20 years time, that sort of eating is not good.

That said, one or two every now and then as a treat isn't bad, shame they taste disgusting :P

Oh yuck, we got the KK a while back & it was such a big marketing scam and people lined up forever to try them... some people like 'em, i hate them, and i'm a big fan of sugar, just that much is beyond gross. What i find a bit off is that they sell them at walmart just on an aisle... like how fresh can that be, says brought in everyday - ya right!

oh and tim horton's do have really good donuts, quality is the same, but they made them smaller - damn them! And to boot for some reason they made their 12-pack boxes to those flat ones like KK which is such a pain in the ass to try and carry with one arm... grrrr...

u can't beat a box of TIMBITS! :D
