Hey guys,

I have never heard of Terrashark or for that matter Epx the bike company but i am interested in there frames.

I love the look of the full suspension carbon Xc bike with a frame and rear shock weighing only 2.75kg.

Does any one own one? Is there anything i should know about this company?

I currently have got a Raceline Comp Hardtail and was looking at buying a Terrashark frame on the week end for $600 including the shock!

Would there be any problems with swapping over components?
(other than the obvious length of the steerer, front der sizing, seat tube thickness, etc)

Thanks for you help

According to mtbr.com they need an e-type front derailleur but otherwise all reviews were quite positive - the pic on mtbr is the hardtail but the review is in the XC full suspension category & the reviewers write about the single pivot design.

I suggest Google it & read...

Saul Britton reviewed one a couple of years back in AMB (I believe). As I recall he generally had good things to say about it.

Hey guys
bought the frame on Saturday and build it up all that day and took it for a quick spin. (to check that i did it all right)

Then today (Sunday) went with a mate to lysterfield and tore it up. the bike is The best dually for a race xc and slight freeride. But with the shock upgrade it will be the ultimate freeride bike.

I had one problem of the seat post sliding down and hitting my shock, so i am in the process of fixing it.

I got the frame and a fox float Rc with lock out, carbon seat post, headset, seat post clamp, xt hollowtech crank all for $720

contact Evan from epx at www.epxbikes.com

Would recommend the bike to anyone.

If you want to know anything about EPX, send a pm to "tld_06"
He is a mate of mine, and works there part time.
Hope I helped!
