Big set ehh? how big are we talking here? I've heard bout jumps out near Coomera, but everyone has been so vague about them, so i wasnt about to spend an hour on a train on the off chance i'll run into someone who can direct me. Are they rideable distance from the station? Any one care to PM me directions if they are?

Here are some shots I took the other day.
They are on Reserve road, you could ride from the station, it would be a good few km's though.

its an easy ride from the trainstation.
prob take like 10 minutes.
here are some directions.
leave the trainstation. at the first set of lights (you will see them from the station) turn right.
follow that road to a roundabout.
go straight at the roundabout over the highway.
You will see the big bp with maccas and stuff.
ride down the hill/road past the bp and follow that rode all the way until another set of lights.
turn right.
you will now be on reserve road.
keep riding for a while and you will go over a hill and see a big pub called "the lost city" keep going (still on reserve road)
a few hundred metres down the road you will see the jumps on the left.

Hey guys, the Coomera jumps (in Lost City) really aren't that great because they are not looked after and so many locals ride them.
I am an Ashmore rider and know the jumps next to the salvation army (known as Binstead) on Binstead Rd, Ashmore are not taken care of anymore because I know the builders and they have bailed on them, also visited them a week ago.
Now as for Bunnings jumps that haven't been fixed for like 3 years have now eroded and cars have been smashed into the lips and burnt there so most of the jumps are not ridable unless you can mover burnt out cars.
Also if u want a trail ride there the foliage has grown over all but 1 trail therefor it is not worth the ride out there.
Try Teasdale jumps, they are massive and alright condition or try Exit 69 jumps in Nerang.
Teasdale: is located in a small forest at the end of a park along Teasdale drive (entrance to the far left corner of park) and have a small, medium and large set or nice gappers and nice transfers, ramps, 50's track and randomly placed jumps.
Exit 69: is located in a small forest on the corner of the turn of (Exit 69) into Nerang of the highway. Entrance is next to houses and is home to a massive 4 pack, 2 ramps and a drop i believe along with full wooden run ins.
Hope this information is useful.

yeah true mate i went to bunnings today to have a look and there's nothing left couldn't find a jump anywhere, they are all just mounds of clay. As for the trails they are all massivly overgrown with grass and fallen down trees making it impossible to even ride them. But i have heard very good things about Teasdale and Exit 69 in Nerang, Teasdale bigs are calimed to be as neally as big as crankworx with a massive hill for a run in and a nice gap inbetween.

Just letting you all know that the Elanora dirt jumps & skatepark have finally begun construction. Not much has happened yet, they started earlier this week but don't seem to have done much due to the wet weather.
I saw the proposed plans about 18months-2 years ago and from memory, there are meant to be 2 jump lines that use the hill from the concrete half pipe as a roll in.
Can't wait to see how they turn out. I'll try get some pics next week and post them up.
