Hey Mate interested in the bike, just a few questions...

Are the rims reasonably straight? no buckles and all that
Head angle?
And how much is postage to the ACT?

Hi,

HT angle is listed as 68 degrees. But I believe its actually slightly slacked than that with those longtravel forks on - it was meant to ship with single crowns as I remember.

Rims are great - no problems.

Recently sent a bike to Sydney for $120. But can check out tomorrow for a definate, will get back to you.

Cheers.

Hey there

Was just wondering about the weight. I'm keen on a free ride type bike to complement my DH rig and thought this might do the job. Any thoughts?

Cheers

Hey,

MountainCycle put the SIN out as a sort of light weight Shockwave. The frame design is very similar but made form a much lighter material.

Ive got pretty heavy freeride type gear on it, but Id say it comes in around 19kgs. I will try to get a more specific answer for you this week (I'll pm you).

Cheers

hey, pretty interested in the bike if its still for sale. i am curretnly on the road with work but will be back to my home by the weekend, was just wanting to ask all the usuall questions, are the wheels are sweet and true and so forth, what sort of wieght ranges are the forks and shock set up for, im bewteen 85 and 90 kilos. how are the brakes, do they need bleeding and how much is left on the pads. no dents in the frame, no major scrathes in the fork stanchons.

thanks luke

sorry didnt see that post about the rims

Hi Luke,

The only question still not answered for you is the that 5th is set for me at about 95 kgs. Its got a 550kg spring on it but Im shipping with a 500 as well which would probably be spot on for your weight.

BUT as posted Im awaiting payment and it looks positive.

Thanks for the interest.
