We're using Pro-desktop at school at the moment, its pretty good when you get the hang of it. Dont think its as good as AutoCAD tho...

That's SolidEdge (SolidWorks' little bro, I don't have a copy of works). It does the job for this stuff, but I really cheated with that model (it's a single part not an assembly).

Some of the stuff they do on these programs is phenominal. My mates dad spends months on stuff like robotic construction lines and all kinds of crazy shit. In the end they can actually make the construction line work in the program.

Yeah well an assembly requires measuring things so they line up and stuff, I prefer to do things by eye...:oops: But as for what the pros do :shock: I still can't get over the quality of rendering you get with ray tracing programs, it's so realistic it's not funny.
