Hi Scott and all the Farkineers
On behalf of Bicycling Australia, I wanted to extend a heartfelt congratulations for your ongoing achievements in 2004. There are a number of us here who are constantly lurking here, when we should probably be on our own site! I want to wish not only all the Admin and Moderators a very Merry Christmas, but also each and every one of the community that makes this place such fun to visit.
Stay safe over the silly period, and if you're sober enough to remember - don't drink and drive. Watch out for idiot mates who insist on cruising under the influence and give them a back-hander. Don't tolerate telemarketers, God botherers or Avon ladies. Be kind to the family pets, but if you have to use fireworks, make sure to turn the animal's behind away from you.
To all of you who keep me in a job by buying our magazines, be it Road, Touring or MTB, a very big thank you. With out you, we don't exist. On that note, for those industry animals that also hide in here, sincere thanks for all your support too. And a super dooper fankx to everybody who made the effort to attend the Bicycling Australia Show in Melbourne this year. It was a huge success and we have some very serious and exciting things lined up for Homebush in '05. Might be a slapping of Mountain Cross if you're all good over Chrissy! That's all I can say.....
We all look forward to being an ongoing part of Farkin.net and invite each of you to extend your thanks to the team who have provided you with so much this last year.
Best wishes extended to all of your families and may you all return safe and sound next year.
Bottoms up to a sensational 2005 for all.
All the best everyone.
