Well, yet another enduro event is apon us, the Geelong Mountain Bike Club's 6 hour, which is to be held at Ballan on the 7th of Feb. Race times 6pm till 12am (MidNight), registration starts at 4:30pm . The course is set to be a good one, Simular to the course I had my first race on, but backwards.

Info: The course has something for everyone, with fast open sections, technical down hills, a couple of creek crossings and about 190m of vertical climbing. The track is 10.5km's in length and quiet tough, but ridable. Facilities at the track are excellent, with permanent toilets, and some great camp sites though space is limited.

For more info/details/Directions check out the GMBC website at:

I am considering doing the race Solo, however lights and bike problems (thanks to the mud at the 8 hour) may well be the end of this plan. I would be willing to ride in a team (or 2 or 3 at most) if someone was looking. I'm not there to win, though it's set to be a good event.
