There are currently three (3) ways to post photos on Farkin.

• linking to the image on an external site.
• by attachment
• uploading to the user gallery (http://forums.farkin.net/photo)

For in-depth instructions on how to do any of these read below.

The general gist of including an image in your forum post involves a fairly simple process.

• Get the link for the image you want to post (if the image is on another website, right click > properties > copy the full url.) Url's typically look like this: http://www.website.com/mysicksickphoto.jpg

• Put the link in these vB code tags [img] [/img]. Example: [img]http://www.website.com/mysicksickphoto.jpg[/img]

• Submit your post... your image should be viewable (unless you've missed something).

This is the fastest and easiest way to include images in your post.

1. Start a new thread or reply to a forum thread.
2. Insert your thread title and body text as you normally would.
3. Scroll down and click on Manage Attachments

4. This will bring up a new popup window. If it doesn't, your browser may have popup protection. You must disable popup protection for farkin.net if this is the case.

5. Click the first browse button, and browse to the location of the photo/image on your computer. When you have found it, click on it and select open.
   

   

   Browse to Photo
   Repeat this step up to 10 times (if you have 10 photos to upload) moving down another browse button for each photo.
6. Now that you have your photos selected click Upload. This will now upload the photos to the server. Depending on the size and number of photos you are uploading, this may take a while. Keep an eye on the progress bar at the bottom of the popup window, it will give you an idea of how close it is to completetion.

7. Once uploading is complete, you will see something like this.
   

   

   Uploaded
   This lists the photos that have been successfully uploaded to the server. If you want to upload more photos you can do so now by repeating steps 4-7, if not scroll down and click on close window.
8. You will now see a list of your attachments back on your new post screen. Submit your post and you're all done!!
